## Company overview

[Metrix Finance](https://www.metrix.finance/) is building an **all-in-one DeFi (decentralized finance) strategy hub** where you can find opportunities, backtest strategies, and automatically track your positions in real-time. We're not another DeFi dashboard - we're building the control center for serious on-chain investors.

Our parent company, [Luminary One](https://luminary.one/), exists to democratize DeFi. We got wrecked like everyone else, figured out what actually works, and built the tools we wish existed. Now we're making them available to anyone tired of spreadsheets and guesswork.

### The Mission

Most people fail at DeFi because they lack proper tools and knowledge - not because they're incapable. We're closing that gap by building software that solves real problems: health ratio tracking, capital allocation optimization, yield monitoring across protocols, and data-driven decision making.

## About the role

We’re hiring a **Web3 Full-Stack Developer** to help ship improvements fast: squash bugs, refine UI/UX, and contribute new features across our app and data stack. You’ll learn **subgraphs** and **substreams**, work closely with the team, and grow into **broader architectural ownership**.

Where this role can go: transition into COO and owning the outcome

As Metrix grows, we're looking for someone who can grow into owning a lot more of the outcome, not just the code: managing another developer, weighing in on product direction, conversion, and the data that tells us what's actually working.

Revenue share is on the table as the right person takes on more responsibility. We're also in the early build phase of the market cycle, so the bar to get there is lower today than it will be once things pick back up.

So yes, this is a developer role. But if you're looking for more than a list of tickets to work through, there's real room to grow into something bigger here.

## What you’ll do

- Fix bugs and improve performance across the stack
- Implement clean, user-friendly UI/UX enhancements
- Build features end-to-end, from API to UI
- Integrate new protocols for simulations and tracking
- Design pragmatic data retrieval and indexing solutions
- Join architecture and code review discussions
- Share daily progress updates and collaborate cross-functionally

## Qualifications

### You are

- A capable developer who moves fast and picks up new systems quickly
- Comfortable with TypeScript and JavaScript
- Familiar with Ethers.js, Web3.js, or Viem
- Capable across front-end and back-end: Next.js and Tailwind
- Experienced with databases: PostgreSQL and Prisma
- Able to work with Web3 data: APIs, RPC, subgraphs

### Nice to have

- Smart contract experience on EVM or Solana
- Strong subgraph experience
- Solid math or technical background
- Personally active in DeFi
- Familiar with caching patterns and app architecture
- Experience with wagmi hooks
